In this age of high population densities, traffic congestions, and all the exciting movies together with fun video games to see and play, it is hard for many of us to understand marriage for 13 year olds (still practiced by some cultures of the world). However, since life expectancy was so low during those centuries, (death by 30-45 is common), young teens getting married and having children early make sense.
