A strong tradition exists in the southwestern region of England
is that Jesus visited there—brought by his uncle uncle Joseph of
Arimathea. This was the man who later claimed his body from the Romans
and laid it in the tomb. At the time Druidism existed as a strong
influence in pre-Roman Britain.
It is quite possible that on one of his visits Jesus may have been
exposed to some of its thoughts and teachings (which interestingly
mirror many aspects of Christianity).
